I'm sad to say that Scooter will probably not make it. The vet thinks he likely has lymphoma, as x-rays show his kidneys to be enlarged and misshapen, and his
white cell count dropped from normal to 2000 in less than a week. His blood, when viewed thought the microscope, has lots of lymphocites. He didn't look good yesterday.
I'm saying prayers and sending healing energy to all the sick kitties out there, and to all you caregivers. This is so hard - I don't know how you all keep doing this. Bless you.
