Thanks for the info..I did join the CRF group, but haven't posted there only go read when I can..
I need to go back and look for some things.
Inky's values are as follows...(some of them)
PCV 31.9 normal
BUN 95 high
Creatinine 5.8 high
Phosphorus was in the normal range about midway...I don't have it in front of me but it was ok..back in Aug. when all this started it was actually low..
Almost everything else was normal except liver values somewhat elevated..
He at this time doesn't need phosphorus binders..We have discussed it though just in case..They were looking at an azotemia med, but it can't be compounded down..It is some new med that will help keep the BUN and Creatinine lower...they called compounding pharmacy today and it couldn't be done...Have you heard anything about a drug like this? Or something
similiar...??
Right now, we are going to watch him and I guess I have to make sure he drinks enough and doesn't have nausea..He is on transdermal pepcid daily. Any other things that I should watch for, please let me know...
