Thanks for this info.! I think my husband and I need the nighttime one!
Lately, I have been waking up with my throat feeling a bit closed and feeling a
little sick. Part of it is because my cat is sleeping on my head, something
that hasn't happened in about a year because they were banned from our bedroom.
But I also think I am not sleeping well, waking up all the time throughout the
night right now, so maybe the rescue remedy will help this!

:)

Subject: OT: Regarding Rescue Remedy/Pet Calm

http://www.rescueremedy.com/
the above website is for general information about Rescue Remedy. I am a huge
fan, I have used it myself everyday since Monkee died. If you go to a Holistic
Vet, they usually mix their own "Flower Essences"- which have a lot of the same
things in it as Rescue Remedy, so if you are using Vet-provided Flower
Essences, you don't need Rescue Remedy (unless you want it for yourself).
Monkee was on Flower Essences in the weeks before he died. The last night of
his life, his Holistic Vet has us giving him the Flower Essences every hour to
keep him calm and try to prevent any respiratory distress. Although he left
this world that night, I really think it helped him and one of the last things
I did was give him a few drops before he passed. I have said this before, but
immediately after Monkee passed in my arms, by mom gave me Rescue Remedy and I
truly believed it prevented me from lapsing into utter hysteria (which would
have been bad for Monkee as he was
 passing on).
Once only sold at specialty, organic food stores (Whole Foods, Wild Oats,
etc.), my Walgreens just started selling Bach's Rescue Remedy! Look for it in
the headache medicine aisle. Bach is also making "Nighttime Rescue Remedy"
(also available at Walgreens)- to sooth your "racing mind" and I use this every
night before bed. I never have trouble getting to sleep!
http://www.bachflower.com/Pets.htm
this website is the Bach's info regarding pets.
http://www.petco.com/product/7743/Richard-s-Organics-Pet-Calm.aspx
And this website is for "Dr. Richard's Organics- Pet Calm." This is pretty
much the same as Rescue Remedy and it's organic too. I think it's cheaper too.
I bought this because my Pet Supply Store doesn't carry Bach's Rescue Remedy,
but it does carry this Brand. I've been using the dropper to put a few drops
in the waters I keep outside for outdoor colony cats on my street. I am trying
to keep them from fighting with each other over food and it's totally working!
I also put a few drops in their wet food when I feed them that. And the cat I
am currently fostering- since she's a high-strung 10 month old- I also put Pet
Calm in her waters and wet food.
I hope this information is helpful!

Good Luck Miles! I know a lot of the people here use something called Rescue
Remedy to calm down their cats (and themselves). I’ve been meaning to get it
for the next car ride for a few of my “scaredy” cats, but I don’t know anything
about it. Hope everything is okay with Miles!
