My vet just told me to watch and collect poop when the kitty goes-pick out
of litter box. As for urine, that I've never tried. I've seen my vet do
it-he'll squeeze kitty in a certain spot and then kitty will go on the
table. Then the vet used a syringe to collect off the table. I wouldn't try
the squeezing, but if you could catch the urine in a bowl as she is going,
then you could get a syringe-full or put it in a plastic glad-ware container
or some such thing. Regardless, it won't be much fun staking out the litter
box! Good luck, and best wishes for Grizzabella.

Subject: Collecting a stool sample?

Hey guys,

I just got home a few minutes ago and Jeff had been holding Grizzabella
earlier. Apparently there was some blood on his shirt where he was holding
her. I'm not sure if its rectal or vaginal bleeding, but I'm sure when I
take her to the vet they're going to want samples, so do you guys have any
recommendations as to how I can collect a stool and/or urine sample? I've
never attempted it, and I wouldn't even know where to start. Geez! It
seems like its already started. :/

Michael
