The FeLV virus is quite fragile outside of the body and doesn't live long at all. It should be perfectly safe to let the other kitties in there now.
You didn't say how old she was, but she may have had it since she was a small kitten. I know how you feel, I have recently lost several of my FeLV kitties and have another who is sick now.
