you can request a "private" x-ray screening, too--they have separate rooms with their own little machines, and you have to take the kitty out of the carrier and let them make sure she's not carrying bombs strapped to her waist (according to another member of this list, whose identiy i shall protect....). that way, tho, all the people and craziness won't scare her.....
