I'm not aware of any of the cats being given Metacam. Metacam has to be very precisely dosed & not given for extended periods of time. I've used it many times with no problems.

A single oral dose of Metacam can cause acute kidney failure in approx. 30% of cats. A better choice for a pain med would be Buprenorphine.
