No vaccine is 100% I've been mixing mine for over 10 years & have had no negative, vaccinated cats catch the virus. Even my 2 vaccinated FIV cats never caught it. And I have had the negatives retested several times. I've had as many as 5 positives & 5 negatives at one time. No transmission. I'd say the vaccine is pretty effective. Of coarse I think cats get more immune to it as they age.
