Karen - I don't know what to say. That's awful, it's heartless and
shocking. Bless you for being with Alex. Gloria

>You wanna hear about a horrible experience with family.
>I haven't been able to talk about it.
>My dad a his wife had this dobe for 10 years, housebroken loyal well trained
>(he trained himself I think). We took him to my vet, he was getting mean. Vet
>said he had arthritis and some pain, a very bad tooth. Kelly was concerned
>about a large mass that was fatty tissue.
>We advised to have the tooth pulled and put on meds for the arthritis. I know
>when I have a bad tooth I might bite too !!!!! Money was not a concern they
>have lots of it. I couldn't take him I have a small one bedroom and the
>safety of the cats was at risk. They put him down, simply cause it was time
>for a new puppy. Damn I am glad that my dad didn't put me down when my teeth
>went bad and his second set of kids was born. Kelly wanted to drop him off at
>the vets and let him die alone. I couldn't do that I went and stayed with him
>till he died. I never seen a healthy dog die before and It was horrible. I
>just didn't want him to die alone after loving those horrid people for 10
>years. She lied and told the kids he had cancer. I hate them. Sorry I had to
>vent. They got the new puppy the same day.
>Please put Alex on the bridge list, he deserved so much better.
