My cats do not get Rabies shots. 
RE: Other shots... I mix my +&- cats. They all get their shots every
3yrs. EXCEPT the negative cats. To be on the safe side they get the shot
against FeLV every year. Since they came out with this vaccine not one
of my negative cats has become positive. All of their shots are given in
the back leg
