Simon is still in the hospital. Looks like the lymphoma is in his bone marrow as well, and his red blood cell count went from normal to 13 in three days and he needed a transfusion today. Part of it might be that he is in IV fluids, whcih dilutes the blood. When I visited this morning after the transfusion he was pretty perky and purry. They are trying everything. They say if he can fight this at all there should be signs by Thursday. He did eat a little chicken on his own today, which he would not do this morning. I have a shred of hope, but that is about it. And my shred of hope is that he is strong enough to handle the chemo necessary to get the lymphoma into remission and allow his blood and liver to recuperate some so that he can have at least a few months more of joyful living, which is what his life is normally like because he is so vibrant. None of my other positives like each other. They only like him. We all miss him. I am leaving soon to go visit him again. Please send prayers for him. And if anyone has heard of a cat in this kind of situation who bounced back for however long, please tell me the story. Thanks, Michelle
