Michelle,

I am so so sorry to hear this! I was hoping so much
that you and Simon could beat this nasty thing.

I just want to second the pain killer idea - when I
took Semuta home after his lymphoma diagnosis (no
chance for chemo - anemia and multiple organ
involvement, bleeding tumor in his gut) they gave me
some kind of opiate that we rubbed on his gums a
couple times a day. He wasn't eating at all but we
got 2 days of snuggle time with purrs and everything
and on the 3rd day I knew it was time to take him in.
He didn't want anything to do with the other cats and
they felt the same way (everyone was a little freaked
out, I think) so keeping him alone in your room might
be nice.

Take lots of pictures, memorize his face, and give him
lots of kisses.

My thoughts will be with you and Simon this weekend.
I'm so sorry.

Jill
