Question for Dr. Susan re: stomatitis

Dr. Susan,
    I was wondering if you had any success with treating stomatitis in cats, other than the use of steroids and dentals?  My 7 year old feline leukemia positive boy, Jimi Too Cool, does pretty well except for his poor mouth, which is extremely painful for him.  I give him supplements at home plus human Interferon but he usually needs to see the vet every 2-3 months for a steroid shot.  I give him L-Lysine, vitamin C, vitamin E, Co Q-10 and Pet-Tinic.
