Buddie also hated the vet and being handled, yet she did allow us to do just enough to get her through 3 chemo treatments and that gave her a year of for the most part good quality of life. We bonded in that year like we never had in her 13 years with me, it was a very special year and it truly amazed me how she put up with things I knew she hated.
