That is definitely NOT good! The year 2002 is within "the last few years."
Therefore, there is a strong possibility that my negatives have been exposed to FeLV via the "Modified Live" version vaccine. AVMA should have enforced/informed ALL practicing veterinarians that the FeLV vaccine was being changed to the "Killed" version and the veterinarians should have had the decency to explain to the pet guardians that the changes have been met. How come these professionals do not communicate with each other?! I am always finding out about new policy changes and protocols through a third party. It is the veterinarian's responsibility to keep their clients updated on medical changes, that is what we are paying these people for, otherwise I might as well become a veterinarian myself!
