Thanks Cherie,
It's the feline interferon I'm talking about, the one you need the FDA dispensation for.  You've given me a good idea though, I do have some of the human interferon in the fridge, I'll check the expiration date.  Maybe that will be enough to get the over this latest hurdle.

Here's a short update about what's been going on at our house:

Last Thursday Grace had been feeling badly, I've already posted about
her quick recovery the next day. On Friday Jazz (my other +) started
acting lethargic. Jazz did not bounce back the following day the way
Grace did. I can only wonder if it has to do with the different
protocols I used on Grace and Jazz. Grace was given a larger initial
dose when we began because she was so sickly and Jazz's only symptoms
had been slight gingivitis. By Sunday, Jazz hadn't eaten anything for
two days, and hadn't left her bed except to go to the litter box. Okay,
here comes the panic. Neither one had a temp, or was congested. Jazz
seemed like she might be a little nauseous, and achy. I only had three
days worth of VO left from the previous phase of feline interferon
dosing ! (the pr! otocol says 5 days of dosing). I've been waiting for my
next shipment. It was suppose to be here around the 13th. It's still
not here. On Saturday I decided to start them on the SQ shots and hope
that the last two days of dosage would get here in time. I figured at
this point some was better than none. Apparently I was right. Jazz
still feels crummy, but has begun to eat and today she's moving around
again, (although still sleeping allot). The VO does seem to be an
excellent way to boost their immune systems. If the new shipment
doesn't get here by tomorrow, (I have one more dose left for today), I
pray that it will have been enough. I'll keep you guys informed.

It would be wonderful if this stuff worked on an "as needed" basis. It
lasts 24 months in the fridge, and if we could just give them a dose or
two and have them respond, it would be a lot more cost efficient.

Say a prayer for my girls,
Nina
