Hi. Hard to say. He came upstairs for a while, which he had not done for a few days, but has been sleeping for hours. He ate a very small amount of cat food (just a few bites) and less sour cream (maybe 10 fingerfuls today) but cleaned out two half-bowls of liver shake. He is getting that very angular look like his muscles are very soft and his skin and whatever fat is left on him are just hanging on his bones. Since both are supposedly caused by his lymphoma taking over organs (liver and bone marrow), I do not really understand how one can improve while the other gets worse. The oncologist is on vacation until Thursday so I can not ask him.I really don't know what to think. I have been trying to work today (I work from home, mostly) because he seems fairly stable, but I can't really concentrate and get up every 5 minutes to check on him or try to convince him to eat (and am annoying the hell out of him). I so badly want him to be well and return to being his old self, which is seeming so far away now even though he has only been sick less than 2 months. But in reality perhaps this is greedy, since last week at this time all I asked for was for him to feel better for a bit and to pass peacefully, when I thought he was on the brink of death.Please keep praying for him and sending him energy.
