Hi,
If found that UMFpack indeed depends on other packages, e.g., CHOLMOD.
To install CHOLMOD, I need to pass 2 include dirs. What is the syntax
for that? I tried the cmake command below, and many other tricks, but it
only founds one of the 2 include dirs I pass. The 2 directories I want
to pass as CHOLMOD_INCLUDE_DIRS are at the end of the cmake command.

Are you sure you are loading the correct ffc and not the old 1.4.0
version? How did you install it and did you have you set PYTHONPATH
correctly?

You need all the FEniCS component (FIAT, UFL, FFC, Instant, DOLFIN) at
version
- either 1.4.0, downloadable as tarball or checkoutable in git
repository as tag foo-1.4.0
- or up-to-date master branch from respective git repositories
