In the mean time, let's talk about the offer for source. I've wondered for a while why Diego made no issue of this, assuming it was OK. Unfortunately, I'm still not sure. Could you please show me how the source (presumably that SVN link, but maybe it's something else?) is being offered to the user in some obvious way? http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/ or the FAQ (license part, or search for "FFmpeg") makes no mention of FFmpeg or the offer-for-source, neither does the about dialog. My reading of section 6 of LGPLv2.1 is that it should be clear to the user (without having to explicitely inquire) where the source can be downloaded. The only exception that might apply to you is 6b2, but I'm unsure if that's valid since the buildscript for your custom FFmpeg build is not available (to the user that doesn't know about svn://...), which is needed for 6b2-based compliance with section 6. ____________________________________________________ FFmpeg issue tracker <[email protected]> <https://roundup.ffmpeg.org/roundup/ffmpeg/issue272> ____________________________________________________
