This seems to be an issues a fix for which we have been waiting for awhile
to actually land QSV AV1 encoding support in ffmpeg master branch. Please,
provide details on the underlying stack, i.e. which version of media-
driver, oneVPL, and most importantly oneVPL-intel-gpu are you using?
I hope that you might be missing the following fix in oneVPL-gpu runtime:
https://github.com/oneapi-src/oneVPL-intel-gpu/commit/dc7fd15 which is
available starting from intel-onevpl-22.6.0.
