Ok are you able to confirm that the structure of the bitstream produced by
FFmpeg (see my post above) is correct under Linux and there is no stutter
when playing back files?
I am keen to establish if there are one or two separate issues - the first
is the timestamps of the bitstreams produced by QSV and the second whether
each bitstream contains a frame that can be shown.
