not a bad idea... bzr doesn't really answer this question anyway (*) since only the sources were imported, but perhaps they should be used to track generated versions as well. (*) this is what I use in other contexts with bzr as the tool - the specific context can be induced from the use of the identifier, and this isn't a word diff but a chunk diff.
