hi shirley - there is one of the shawls you mention in the ashford book of
weaving, pp 156-159, pictures, diagrams, pattern details & all.  i have
admired it several times but not attempted one yet.  (key word is "yet").
layl in ariz where it is 100+ deg.  summer's here.
