AHA! I've been mulling the idea over in my mind and wondered if it
would be possible to make a simple weaving frame somewhat like the
Tri-loom that makes triangular shawls. Maybe by using 2x2s attached
to a piece of plywood, with brads placed at quarter inch intervals.
No heddles, no shed--each shot (is that the correct term?) would be
woven in.
I have this real longing for a slinky, heavy rayon chennille shawl.
