Another concern with electric spinners that hasn't been mentioned is
whether they are flyer-lead or bobbin-lead.

In my limited experience with bobbin-lead spinning devices, there's
always some take-up, even when the device is going slowly and all brake
band tension is off.  This could make spinning slippery and/or short
fibers quite challenging.

I had considered buying the Spin-Tech for a long time, but aside from
the money involved and not having a chance to spin on it before buying,
I was concerned about it being a bobbin-lead spinner.  I spin a lot of
angora, so that's potentially a real problem.

My new spinner is flyer-lead.
