Merry,
I'm thinking along the same lines - during a thunderstorm an electric
spinner would be useless, BUT if they work plugged into the otherwise
useless cigarette lighter of a moving vehicle, that IS an interesting
thought.
I already knit, crochet and read - as well as use an Inkle loom in the
passenger seat, but so far spinning in any form has not been possible.
