One of the good things about all of this is a demonstration that there is
more than one way to do something. :) Actually, both methods work well for
spinning to spec if that is what you want to do. The reason they both work
is that you are spinning the same yarn, with the same count on the same
wheel. Whether your wheel measures or counts to 25:1 you will be doing your
spinning based on that particular wheel. Counting the treadles on that
wheel...etc. If you want to spin the yarn on a different wheel, you would
have to do the count or measure again and then base you treadling on the new
wheel. It is math...and it is also fun. Let's remember the fun part?
