Hello to All of you-- My name is Jet and some of you may know me from some of the other fiber mailing lists I'm on. I'm a 47 yo, married, fiber artist, who lives in the Sacramento area in a rental right now. My husband and I have bought 16 acres and hopefully, our home will be done by late summer to mid-fall of 2002. I am planning on having Icelandic, Navaho Churro and Rambouillet sheep, some alpaca, chickens, and Angora rabbits, and some gardens (herbs, veggies, fiber and flower) and a small orchard (nut and fruit).
I have been knitting (since 6 yo), crocheting (since 8 yo), and spinning for 2 months. I have a knitting machine, spinning wheel, tatting shuttle, and various other fiber paraphernalia. I also have a lot of other hobbies as well: painting, reading, music, exercising, yoga, and people. I also enjoy the computer and the various lists I'm on including homesteading lists, various fiber lists, animal/sheep lists and an alpaca list. I've heard good things about this list, so I hope I am welcome here.
