Lots ....

Been getting out to some of the sights with elderly Auntie ...
?Have you heard of the new wheel near here ... The Falkirk Wheel?

Spins but not for spinning ...not at at 7 minutes the half turn ..
It is the worlds first and only rotating boat lift... links two canals at
Falkirk in central Scotland through a single 35 metre (77 foot) lift. .. so
for the first time in decades canal and boat enthusiasts can go between
Glasgow and Edinburgh by canal. It is an amazing modern engineering and
sculptural feature .. more when I get some photos on to our website...

Sheep ... sorting out the Shetlands for our first pedigree sale of the
season right here in Lanark on Friday. Then Perth on Sat 7th and Skipton
(Yorkshire) on 14th. ...Anxiously waiting to see what prices will be like
after a two year gap.... and we joined the British Coloured Sheep Breeders
Association as a home for our fun fine fiber coloured crosses ...

BTW we went to the Texel sale here in Lanark last week .. kept hands firmly
in pockets as a ram lamb went for 88000 guineas .. (that's 92400 pounds
sterling ... say just about 150,000 USD ) and no I have not made a mistake
that is 6 figures...

Robin who will be happy with the small change from that one for our lambs
...
ps we had good day at our final major show bring the Best in Show Fleece
trophy home for the fourth time in five and pleased to see new competitors
beating us in a couple of classes ......
