Most of the US, yes; here, NO.  The ILL here is limited to northern
lower Michigan counties, all of which are sparsely populated and (except
when invaded by rich seasonal people) very poor.  I might be able to get
recent bestsellers via ILL, but not obscure textile books--or even
current textile books.  I've tried.

Plus the library closest to us, easiest to access, we can't use because
we don't live in their service district and they don't accept the
"Michicard" which allows patrons to use other libraries.  So, for the
first time in our lives, we don't use the library...a situation I don't
like at all, libraries being the one service we checked into first in
every community we lived in all those years of Army moving (and don't I
feel silly about all the times I complained of the 'inadequacy' of Army
libraries!).

Sorry about the mini-rant :)  It hurts to not be able to use a half-way
decent library!
