A super-simple pattern, suitable for beginning knitters, is a garter stitch headband/earwarmer. Just cast on about 3 inches worth of stitches (around 20 usually works with fine fibers) and knit until the band, stretched, just fits around the head. Cast off and sew ends together. I make these to sell from 1/2 ounce of handspun angora, so the amount of fiber you're talking about will be more than sufficient :) Holly To stop mail temporarily mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: set nomail To restore send: set mail
