I got some instruction for making those slipper socks and they suggested making complete socks of very thick yarn. Perhaps you know the Regia 4ply - they doubled the yarn, knitting with an "8-ply". For extra warmth work the socks in Fair-Isle and work *1st col1, 1st col2*, rep. and change colours in the next row on the sole. I've done socks like this and my MIL loves to wear them. Might be an inspiration... :) Ilona To stop mail temporarily mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: set nomail To restore send: set mail
