<<Do you have a web reference for the reinforcing of thin spots on
socks?>>

I have instructions of a sort on my website--needs a bunch of pictures,
but I haven't had a sock to darn in quite a while, and it's hard to hold
the camera and do the darning at the same time :) So I used verbiage:

<http://www.hjsstudio.com/darn.html>

(this and the wool washing page seem to be the most popular on my
website, but it's this page that gets me the weirdest and funniest
emails :)

<<do you ever fix them with other yarns?>>

Sometimes--if I don't have the original yarn for some reason, or it wore
out too easily. For my good handspun socks, I keep a bit of extra yarn
in a ziploc bag with a label for what socks it belongs to, for future
darning/reinforcing, in a special place where such yarns live :)

Have fun a Rhinebeck--wish I could go :)
