Thank you Cathy,,,,, as i said my public knitting causes interesting reactions, I knit crochet Seamless, mainly from the neck down,,,,, thus sometimes i sit with a sweater , both sleeves dangling down , while i am already on the underside.It always makes people look ,,than :" excuse me are you jknitting a Sharwaal ?" is my favorite!!! "Is this for a Dog?" "Is this a toy ?" some how they never ask waht is it . Lately i knit crochet Moebiouses in one piece from the middle out ,, the crochet is rather long and people see it is some sort of Wheel ,,, : "Eccuse me you have a mistake in your Wheel !!!", is quite common. after which i give a math explanation , i have come to the decision and keep a paer ribbon in my bag , whenever i work a moebious , as i can better demonstrate it`s nature. The knitted one is another story , one knits it in a 8 shape the circular needle going round twice and crossing inthe middle , and the whole shawl is `squeezed` on it, some people just watch , than make an hoppeless movement with their hand, preffering not to ask , some do ask and get a polite answer. But one day i had this woman watching me all the way , from Haifa to Tel Aviv [in the train] . at Tel Aviv, she came close to me ,, put her hand on my shoulder, and whispered into my ears : It is OK , it happend to me as well when i was mixed up !!!! , To avoid this i now wear one , or have a finnished one when i ,make the new one.. My most Dear anecdote happened lately, coming back in the train , i set down next to a heavy sleeping Young policemen, suddenly he woke up, looked at me knitting ,, and said ; HUUUUm it feels so cosy , like sitting next to my Ma ,,," and dozed off again ,,, mirjam
