Yes, you can work with a fiber processing business to get the right diameter to your roving. I recently went through this process because I wanted to get a thick roving for painting. Some mills are more locked in than others in their production process. I spoke with Yolo in CA, and they are able to modify roving size. They work with large industrial equipment which may have something to do with it.
