Your poor hands and skin! Hot water damages the skin. Benadryl, taken as directed, works at stopping the itchies. Cortisone creams will work also. There's also a product, completely herbal, called Everything Balm, available from www.goodiesunlimited.com. I brought home a noscomial skin infection, from my latest hospital stay. I had itching blisters, 3 and 4 deep, on my skin. The Everything Balm was the only thing that gave me any relief from the constant itching and burning.
