Hi there. Thanks to all who answered my wimple blocking question. I have a new one to ask.
I have a llama fleece. I've removed most of the guard hairs, but I am having a real hard time getting the chaff out of the down. The down is so nice and I'd really like to use this stuff. I've tried wool cards, cotton cards and 5-pitch English combs with no luck. I also picked it open, put it in lingerie bags, and tossed in the dryer with some shoes and that got out some, but not very much. Do any of you have any helpful hints?
