Hi all,
Just a quick recommendation for you if you have some floors with
fibers, dust, lint and maybe even animal hair on them. Susanne bought
a gadget called RoboMop some months ago. It runs off a rechargeable
softball-sized "motor". It looks silly and flimsy, but it does a
wonderful job of getting all the fine stuff off a floor. It is for
hard floors such as wood, tile, vinyl, etc. - not carpet or rugs. I
use it on some vinyl floors to get all the fine stuff up before using
a damp "mop" on them. Takes all the work out of cleaning floors.
This thing is silent and harmless. I am not sure how a cat or other
pet would react to one. They'll either play with it or run from it
would be my guess. Anyway great for dust dust bunnies, fibers, hair,
etc. Oh, it is only about 4 inches high, so will scoot under beds and
chairs, etc.
No, I am not selling these and have no connection with the company.
They are called RoboMaid in the US and Canada. Do a Google search for
RoboMaid, and you'll come up with a source. Susanne found ours in a
shop, but I see that one can mail order them on line or using an 800
number. The price is around $10-$30. The Amazon price looked low, but
I didn't check shipping costs.
Has anyone else tried one of these?
Ron
