Sorry to take so long to reply, but we now use Buck's Country Tanning in 
PA.  We used to use Moosehead in Maine, but they're out of business now, 
which is unfortunate, they did a much nicer job.  The Buck's Country 
skins come back STINKING of chemicals.

And yes, they're washable.  I've even washed one, to see how it would 
go.  Worked fine.
