We just returned from a trip to my Mom in Chicago to find our shop smoke damaged from an apartment fire 2 floors up in the building. Minimal water problems that will dry out soon. Smoke smell is quite pronounced. Does anyone have suggestions for treating my yarn inventory to get rid of the odor without damaging the yarn? Right now we're airing the building and will continue tomorrow - past that, I'll be putting the yarn into looser configurations so that it gets fresh air circulation.
