Is it just me or does anyone else see Spin-Off, once a great publication, deteriorating into merely another 'craft' magazine full of felting, beading, etc.? I let my subscription lapse, but have purchased some from my local yarn shop, and they certainly are not worth the cost. My old issues (1970-80's) were soo informative and well done, I still re-read them. Handwoven, ditto. Since Interweave sold out, all their magazines have gotten steadily poorer in content (imho) and I can see the new owner soon discontinuing some mags and combining it all into one publication in an effort to recoup their purchase price for IW. Layl in Arizona, where it is to be 60's New Year's Day (sigh) and I so love snowy winters...
