Hi, Robin :) Down to the Roots is the name of the magazine, and it's not an ezine but printed. <http://www.downtotheroots.net/>

It's a great magazine, full of homesteading info that many folks don't know--butchering animals, non-electric lighting, making a willow chair, cardboard gardening, and much much more. It's only been going for a couple years, and after I got the first issue of my regular subscription, I ordered all back issues.

And the editor (who also writes most of the articles) has something on spinning and knitting in most issues.

Highly recommended for those who want to be more self-sufficient. It's really a LOT better than most of Mother Earth News, for example--not yuppy and consumer-oriented. No advertising except a few business card ads on one page, and wide margins left for your own notes. The only complaint I have is she doesn't list the entire contents on the front page :)

Holly
