All this talk of curved back cards being easier to use makes me feel out of place, lol. I find that I very much dislike curve backs, at least any more than mine are. My cards have a very slight curve to them, and I mean very. I recently used a pair of Ashford's that were very 'curvy', and totally hated the experience. I find I have to flex my wrists too much to make them work for me in the way that I have become comfortable in carding. Perhaps I don't card 'correctly', I have never had any one to show me, or critique my technique. But, I get lovely rolags, and have a pleasant carding experience with my flatter backed cards, in spite of carpal tunnel syndrome, and achy joints. Been using mine for 7 years now. 90 ppi, and I've carded just about everything with them, my favorite being my angora.
