Please, I need suggestions regarding a brochure, if you have any!
Holly,
We print a multiple sided tri-fold brochure about 6 months before our
Festival. It is fairly unique in that if you open it all the way up it
is a full sized poster of our logo for that year's Festival. It matches
the t'shirts, cover to the booklet etc. for that year. An amazing
amount of people collect our brochures/posters. They obviously are more
expensive to print than a plain tri-fold - we normally print about 7500
of them. Several of our committee members do Farmer's Markets in the
Fall, plus we always have them at events such as sheep shows and the
like. All of the feed stores in NH have always been willing to keep
some in the stores, fiber/yarn shops, libraries and town offices, plus
the UNH Extension Service and Farm Bureau offices. Unfortunately here
in NH you have to apply and pay big bucks to have them distributed at
information stops along the freeways so we do not go that route.
The booklets are so expensive to print that we do limited numbers and
hand them out at the gate mostly - the tri-fold however we hand out for
months. Our goal of course is to hand out every single one of them.
They do us no good sitting in our garages/barns/cellars, so hand them
out we do! I take them everywhere I go and hand them to total
strangers. :)
