You might think I'm a few cards short of a full deck, ...BUT .... I didn't notice until I had spun the entire fleece. No kidding. I thought it looked 'different'. Not as white, but until I started to set the twist and hung the finished first few skeins next to other "white" skeins it hit me right between the eyes.
