No, unfortunately, mainly because I don't have a car to get to most of the
functions/meetings, which is really a bummer.  Once I have a little more
mobility, I'd like to consider it!

I had thought about using my nettles for spinning, but at this point, it's
medicinal and fodder value to me is a bit too great to use it for much else.
If I ever get to a place were I have enough, though, I'd love to learn to make
a sort of flax from it.  As a matter of fact, it seems like I  have read
something somewhere about this study you mentioned, but it's been a long while
now, and can't remember how I came across it.
