I had thought about using my nettles for spinning, but at this point, it's medicinal and fodder value to me is a bit too great to use it for much else. If I ever get to a place were I have enough, though, I'd love to learn to make a sort of flax from it. As a matter of fact, it seems like I have read something somewhere about this study you mentioned, but it's been a long while now, and can't remember how I came across it. Thanks!
