You should have received some paper work, when you bought the Woolee Winder. That has the answers to all your questions, about oiling the winder. If you're like me, you put it in a safe place, and can't find it. You can call or email Robert Lee & Sons. They have a web site, where you can leave an email. There's also a phone number. So you don't have to do any research. Just ask the company for answers! :) wrnk d2
