There is an ad for block buster at the bottom of your response. It has no
picture with it though. Its under the heading marketplace just above the
yahoo stuff. It is easy to ibnore as I never bother scrolling that far past
the post.

Those aren't ads, they are information for Fibernetters that is added 
intentionally. If you see more, then try turning off HTML in your 
e-mail client for starters.
