In my parlance "el" would be short for electric (electronic) spinner. I have found that spinning and watching tv slows down my spinning. I find it better to listen to audio books (here available from the public library, various web sites and for a fee, audible.com.) That is, my spinning is more consistent in speed and yarn diameter when I'm not looking at the screen. Music works well too. Multi tasking two (or more) visual task, or hearing tasks seems to be detrimental to both for me! I have a new iMac with Leopard 10.5.3. and am in the process of learning how to use it. Finally figured out how to quote a message without picking up the ads (I like HTML, so don't want to turn that off.) However, I notice some "interesting" effects when the message reaches my in-box. The last one sent to this list came back with a tiny photo of me in the upper right. Did anyone else see it? Regards, Michelle White Rock NM [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
