Folks-- I'm part of an LJ discussion on Karakul and need a piece of info I can't find. Does it need to be dehaired before felting or spinning? I've checked my "standard" websites for info and found alot about the animal and hints about the wool, but nothing that plainly says, "here there be guard hairs, remove them." ;-) John S.
